These Skyway Retro-Flange Edition Tuff Wheels feature hand-made and machined alloy flanges with a throwback look to the classic "Campy-style" hubs from the early 80's!  Just like Eddie Fiola had on his bike back in 81' and now!

These hubs feature precision sealed bearings for years of maintenance-free use that will roll on and on! These hubs are gold anodized, like ALL classic Graphites are. The wheels themselves are made using the very same wheel mold from the early 80's! You don't get much more "retro" than that!

Skyway's Graphites are molded from a proprietary blend of long-strand CARBON FIBER and ZYTEL NYLON. This blend produces a wheel far stiffer than any composite wheel on the market. These wheels put the power to the ground yet take the abuse of hard landings without having to true your spokes after every ride. This strength and stiffness also allow the use of higher tire pressures than possible with previous composite wheels. These are NEW and made with todays better, and lighter graphite materials not to mention better technology only improving on the legendary Tuff II performance you've come to expect from Skyway. Identical spoke pattern as the vintage Tuff II's, but precision made! 

Features 3/8" cr-mo axles.  
Threaded freewheel style.  Fits most 16 tooth and larger freewheels.  Freewheel NOT included.
We STRONGLY suggest the use of Kool-Stop brand brake pads in BLACK for these wheels.  
For tires 20" x 1.75" and wider
3/8" Cr-Mo axles. Front axle is slotted to fit pretty much all era's of BMX forks.
26tpi thread on both axles.
Sealed bearings Graphite composite (Carbon fiber / Zytel nylon mix)
threaded freehub.
Fits 16 tooth and larger freewheels (not included)
