Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Barbarian-2 named for?
Clint "The Barbarian" Miller — the world's first IBMXF World Pro Champion (1980), riding a Torker. The Barbarian was the original 26" Torker that the BMX world got thrown off its axis when Clint debuted. The Barbarian-2 is the modern reissue. Read the full Fullerton Era story.

What sizes does the Barbarian-2 come in?
Three sizes: Pro 24" (22" TT), Pro 26" (22.75" TT), and Pro 29" (23.75" TT). All with 73.5° head angle on the 24" and 72.5° on the 26" and 29". The 26" is the original Barbarian wheel size.

Why is the headtube so tall?
5 1/2" tall instead of the standard 4-4 1/2" BMX headtube. The taller headtube is original Barbarian DNA — part of what gave the 1980 frame its distinctive look. We kept it faithful to the original.

What's the difference between the Barbarian-2 and the Barbarian GEN II?
The Barbarian-2 has the modern 1 1/8" threadless steertube, V brakes, 27.2 seatmast — fully modernized for current racing. The Barbarian GEN II keeps the original 1" (21.1 ID) threaded fork and side-pull brakes for true vintage builds.

What material is the frame made of?
Seamless 4130 chromoly. Includes 1 1/8" 4130 Cro-mo Heat Treated Torker threadless fork. Double-thick (1/4") laser-cut chromoly dropouts.

How limited is it?
First production: Triple Show Chrome only, 25 pieces per wheel size. Each frame has a unique serial number with TCM4 (24"), TCM6 (26"), or TCM9 (29") prefix.

Is the Barbarian-2 race-legal for USA BMX?
Yes. The 24" and 26" sizes meet USA BMX Cruiser class specs. The 29" meets USA BMX Masters/Cruiser specs.
