A Tandem? What!?
Yes! You knew we were going to be crazy enough to do this, and just in time for a Spring Build, we bring you the 26" Barbarian-2 Tandem Frame!
Back in 1978, the iconic photo was taken of Aggie and EK cruising thru the pits on a 20" Torker Tandem. Well, now we have all grown up and while it would be cool to have a 20" tandem... the practicality of the 26" Barbarian-2 Tandem is where it is at.
*Please note - Building a tandem takes some great skill and patience. Please be sure to let your local bike shop help you with the build if you have any questions on how to build it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this really a BMX tandem frame?
Yes. One of the only purpose-built BMX tandem frames in existence today. Inspired by the iconic 1978 photo of Mike "Aggie" Aguilera and Eddy King cruising the pits on a 20" Torker Tandem. Scaled up to 26" for adult riders.
What's the geometry?
Pro 26" Tandem: 22.75" top tube, 15.25" chainstay, 11.625" BB height, 72.5° head angle. Built around the Barbarian-2 26" geometry.
What components do I need?
Frame is included. You'll need (in tandem-doubled quantities where indicated): 1 1/8" integrated Campy-style threadless headset, V brakes, two 27.2 seatposts, two 28.6 seat clamps, plus a Stoker Stem (Dimension 263026 from Hank and Frank works well), bars, grips, two sets of cranks, two BB kits, chain, chainrings, freewheel, pedals (two sets), saddles (two), 26" wheelset, tires, tubes.
Is it hard to build?
Building a tandem takes skill and patience — especially the timing chain between the two sets of cranks and getting the captain and stoker positions dialed in. We strongly recommend your local bike shop helps with the build.
How limited is it?
25 pieces total. Gloss Black frame, Chrome fork (matching the original Torker Tandem photo).
What's the connection to Aggie and Eddy King?
The original 1978 Torker Tandem was a 20" frame photographed at the pits with Mike Aguilera and Eddy King — both 1979 National Number One team riders. Read the full Fullerton Era story.
